I am currently working on revisiting my Bug Lady drawing. I always wanted to expand on her, and now I am getting the chance. I’ll be sure to share her with you once I decide that she is finished.
I also started another blog to share my random musings with the world. Because I can. I will also be reposting the interviews and features I have been doing with other artists from the Livejournal community AddMyArtJournal on that blog in the near future. There are too many amazing artists that need to be seen by the world, and I want to do my part to share them with you all. In the meantime you can check out my new blog at pinkdeviant.blogspot.com.

I finished both of my paintings for the upcoming Greasers, Ghouls & Gals show in LA. I mailed them a week ago and can I just say that I am so glad they are gone. Don’t get me wrong, I love them, I’m just really tired of working on them right now. I want to work on new things and I have so many new ideas, I just need the time to work on them.
The picture to the right here is a shot of both paintings after I had, finally, finished them. I love them both and, of course, they look much better in person. I wish I had taken more time to work on the Greaser guy though, but that’s okay I am really happy with the way he turned out anyway.
I am still waiting on the MOO Cards that I ordered weekend before last. I am super excited as they are supposed to be here in the next day or so. Expect a full review and pictures when they do arrive. I have heard really incredible things about these cards. I know I was incredibly impressed with the ease with which you can design your cards and number of possibilities. I greatly look forward to passing these out at the art show and chucking a few of them into boxes of artwork when I ship them out.
I have one more idea for a painting at the moment, but I can’t decide if I want to do it in acrylic (and risk losing some of the detail that I want) or doing it in watercolor and going over the paint with black pen to show the detail. I’m also going to work on more basic drawings as I haven’t done that in months and I really miss it.
Anyway, I leave you with a closer picture of the latest paintings’ neck tattoos:

I finished both galleries (Drawings & Paintings) today. There’s about 29 pieces all together? I also added a few more bits to the About page.
I have to get back to painting now. I need to finish the second painting before Tuesday so I can ship it to SoCal. Crunch time for the show.

Added a Flashbox plugin. I will begin putting together the gallery in the next few days. You can check it out on a few images around the site right now. I think it’s nifty.
I finished the self-interview on the about page tonight, check it out.
I ordered Moo Cards tonight. They’re going to be fabulous.
I want to keep working on the site, but I really need to go to sleep.

My first group art show is coming up the first weekend in March. The whole thing is being put on by Gavin Hignight, the author of Motor City Comic which is celebrating the release of it’s first, full, graphic novel. More information about the show can be found at Motor City Comic’s official blog. The show is taking place at Melt Down Comics.
I will have two new, original, paintings there at the art show. They will both be for sale that night, if I do not sell them at the show then I will sell them online.
In other news, I am in the process of converting wheelhopcity.com into my official art site. Moving it from E.
I apologize for the mess, things will be sorted out here as soon as possible.
